VIVA VEDANTA FOUNDATION was launched  with a small function held at ASHRAYA HALL, SECTOR 19, NERUL, on Sat, 4 TH MAY, 2013.  It was attended by about 70 people.  After the inauguration with the lighting of the lamp by Acharya Vasudhaa Chaitanya, the Trustees of the Foundation Mr. Deepak Vijayan, Mrs.Girija Shankar and Mrs.Jaishree Kannan spoke about the objectives and the proposed activities of the Foundation.  Then Acharya addressed the gathering which was followed by Vyas Archana by all the invitees. Many of the guests spoke on their expectations from the Foundation.  In the end, sumptuous dinner was served.

Acharya Vasudha, earlier a counselor by profession, is now a dedicated teacher of Vedanta. When the call to explore the mysteries of the Universe and its function intensified in her, she dedicated herself to the studies of Vedas. Having completed the course in Vedanta studies from Sandeepany Sadhanalaya (Chinmaya Mission, Mumbai), she is today an accomplished Acharya holding classes in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.


The classes aim at systematic study of the ancient Indian wisdom to all participants centered on the principles of Listening, Learning and Living. Advaita Vedanta texts, Upanishads, Bhagawad Gita and other Smritis, Dhyanam (meditations) are some of the topics covered in these classes. The Acharya unfolds the subtleties of the scriptures in a simpler manner for your contemplation and wholesome life.

YOUTH MEET

 An interactive session with Acharyaji was held for the children of 11 to 17 years of age on 27th June 2015 at the Centre.  Acharya guided the little ones through a short meditation and motivated and assured them of achieving their goals in lives. The little angels came up with their doubts on God and religion and Acharya answered them all to their satisfaction.

Viva Vedanta Foundation is a charitable, non profit organisation, founded by Acharya Vasudhaa Chaitanya, with its Centre set amidst the tranquil and green surroundings of Parsik Hill, Belapur, Navi Mumbai, to spread the teachings of the ancient scriptures. Acharya conducts lecture sessions and workshops that help one overcome emotional blocks and thereby enhance the potential within each one of us. These workshops help immensely to recognize and understand the true nature of our Self. She travels often meeting more and more people sharing Self knowledge with all irrespective of class, caste, religion or nationality.

There are regular lectures and talks in Mumbai, New Delhi and Dubai comprising of Bhagavad Gita, Adi Shankara’s texts and some Bhakti texts too. The Acharya also conducts long term courses in basic and advance Vedanta at the Centre. The course covers many Advaita texts, Upanishads and Dhyanam (meditations). She unfolds the subtleties of the scriptures in a simpler manner for contemplation and wholesome living.
